The mystery of the disappearing brassica

Evidence:

Hypothesis: I believe that the plants died at the hands of stink bugs (as seen in the picture above). My team and I found one running away, suspiciously close to the crime scene. I immediately went to observe our plants and we found bug bites (also seen in the pictures above) in them ones that would fit the description of a stink bug's bite. Given all the evidence I think it's pretty clear that stink bugs(independent variable) left our plant bitten and rotting(dependent variable)
Experiment:The experiment is simple. We have the pictures of our plant with all the bug bites on them and we have the bug that supposedly did it all we have to do is put a piece of the Broccoli Romanesco in there, and wait for the bug to eat it. If the bug bites match my hypothesis is correct and the stink bug did do it, if they don't match than something else might have killed it.

Hi, my name is Arturo l. I was born here in San Jose, CA and I've lived here ever since. I used to have a banana  tree in my backyard and even though I don't like bananas  I planted the tree, harvesting, anything I could possibly do. I grew them during the summer so it was very hot but it was worth is when we made all that banana shake My Biology teacher Mr.Bursch knows a lot about gardening and plants he knows how to care for them and he knows a lot of about them.

Hi, my name is Michael. I was born here in San Jose, CA and I've lived here ever since. I used to have a tomato garden in my backyard and even though I don't like tomatoes I tended to that garden watering, harvesting, anything I could possibly do. I grew them during the summer so it was very hot but it was worth is when we made all that pizza. My Biology teacher Mr.Bursch knows a lot about gardening and plants he knows how to care for them and he knows pretty much everything about them.
